Elyse: They are on top of our bureau.
Steven: Andy, Jennifer we are going to be late hurry up.
Andy: Mom, will you help me put my tie on?
Elyse: Why sure honey.
Jennifer: Mallory, does this look all right?
Mallory: It looks great on you!
Alex: Hey Mal Lauren is coming over so don't bother us. Ok?
Mallory: Ok I just bought new clothes any way to try on.
Alex: Well I hope you have a fun time playing dress up.
Elyse: Now Alex you are in charge we should be back no later than 11:30.
Steven: Now don't make our house into a hotel again ok.
Mallory: Fine we won't.
Alex: Yah
Elyse: Steven Andy Jennifer we have to go. Bye you guys be good!
(Steven Elyse, Jennifer and Andy leave)
Alex: Finally I can call Lauren.
(Alex calls Lauren) (Mallory is watching TV)
Lauren: Hello
Alex: Hi Lauren! Do you want to come over tonight?
Lauren: I can't I have a huge biology test on Monday plus I have a 15 page
report to do. Sorry.
Alex: That's okay well I guess I will see you on Monday than.
Lauren: I love you Alex
Alex: I love you too! Bye
Lauren: Bye Alex.
(Alex hangs up phone)
Mallory: Alex is Lauren coming over?
Alex: No she has to study.
Mallory: It is suppose to snow tonight.
Alex: How much?
Mallory: How am I supposed to know? I was watching the fashion channel and
it just appeared that is was going to snow
Alex: Oh the fashion channel how exciting. (Sarcastically)
Mallory: Very funny Alex.
Alex Hey look.
Mallory: What is it?
Alex: It is snowing very hard and it is sticking.
Mallory: So?
Alex: I hope mom dad Andy and Jennifer will be able to make it back.
Mallory: Me too
(Lights go out)
Mallory: Alex the lights are out.
Alex: I can see that.
Mallory: What are we going to do?
Alex: Relax and stay calm.
Mallory: I'll try but it is so dark I am scared.
Alex: Don't worry I am here
Mallory: What will happen to Mom, Dad, Andy and Jennifer?
Alex: I don't know, I just don't know.
